Music Exploration Class: For ages 4-6, this 8 week Saturday class introduces basic music concepts and develops necessary motor skills through a variety of activities including songs, games, and movement. The focus is on developing rhythm skills, awareness of pitch, learning the musical alphabet, practicing fine motor skills, and an introduction to the musical staff. This class features a rolling curriculum and students would typically enroll in the class for 2 consecutive semesters in order to experience the entire curriculum before moving on to a group piano class or private lessons.
